Design Build Wow partnered with the team at Money2020, the world’s largest global fintech event to create the MoneyBot – a 4 metre tall animatronic DJ robot. Our design process began with 2D sketching to find the right balance between functionality and aesthetic design. Once we had an established look shown here in these final concept drawings we moved into Fusion360 for developing further in 3D.

MoneyBot was a complex build. It had to contain a very loud PA system, animatronic arms with smoke cannon hands, drivable wheels, a DJ cage and a LED screen. All on a tight deadline for shipping to Amsterdam for its first performance.
